New year, new music, new heartache – Beach Bunny released “Sports” at the stroke of midnight on January 1, 2018.
“Sports” is the first track collectively worked on by the four-piece alt-pop band. Members Lili Trifilio (vox, guitar), Matt Henkels (guitar), Aidan Cada (bass), and Jon Alvarado (drums) worked nonstop to debut the band's new, matured direction.
Beach Bunny’s differentiation in the indie pop realm is what only be described as “sad-girl, alt-pop”. With catchy lyrics that resonate to those frustrated with love, you can keep the song on endless repeat. Tying in styles of power pop, alternative, and surf rock - Lili's voice seamlessly combines it all perfectly.
